The disco ball

The disco ball came out at church last night as the leaders humbly served food, vision and entertainment to the volunteers and contributors of the church in an act of thanks. It was just such a treat.
One of the things I felt most bereft about when the potential of “lockdown” first entered our lives was losing church and however I would cope. As it happened we didn’t lose a single week thanks to how adaptive, creative and dedicated our leadership team was and God has really blessed us through the valley. Though we’ve been back in the building for some time it has always been under restriction and caution so to enjoy being together last night felt wonderfully epic at last!
Obviously we are facing more battle and difficulty ahead and the people of Ukraine are firmly on our hearts. And it was good to share the vision of all we so desperately want to do as a church going forward. Love being part of a church family.
