Friday night takeaway at Vincent’s Laura and Steve’s, with lots to catch up on.

Vincent was a bit hangry when we arrived, we’ve never heard him grumble before so that was funny to hear.
Once he’d been fed, he needed a snooze so took himself off for a while before coming to stretch himself out next to my chair.

Holidays were the main topic of discussion. They are due to go to Singapore, Bali and Penang in 8 weeks time, but local rules mean several days of quarantine in each place. They’ve argued with their agent that this is too much of a disruption and when they’re spending a lot of money, they want the holiday they’ve paid for!

We’ve finally reached an agreement with our agent over pretty much the same thing; we’ve changed our booking to an adults only, ultra all inclusive in Mexico.
This is a new one on us as we always do tours rather than resorts, but we have said on a few occasions that a chilled out holiday just once in a while might do us good.
There are activities and a few local tours we can do, which as good as we aren’t sunbathers.

We’ve also managed to change our dates of travel so we will be there for my 50th. Yay! :-)
