A sunny morning, so I washed the bedclothes, and they were blowing on the line not long after breakfast. J wanted to go to the DIY shop in Aberkenfig, so I went along for the ride. I have blipped these wonderful mosaic memorials before, which are opposite the shop, and they now seem even more poignant. There is a new deli opened in the village so I went in for a mooch. I saw some delicious custard slices, and thought I would treat myself to one ( J doesn't like them) but I nearly fainted when she said, that will be £2.20 please. It had better be good.
