Mergus Merganser

We never used to see these rather smart looking diving ducks in central Scotland. However, they are now regular sights on our rivers, and canals. They are saw beaked fish eaters and this may whiles not exactly endear them to the angling fraternity.
Not the best photo but it is the best I could get with my phone.
Another sunny day so we have been outdoors as much as possible.
