Silly Saturday

I thought I’d look for squirrels,
But there were none around.
I listened out for robins,
But nothing made a sound.
Perhaps I’d see some sparrows ?
They must be having naps.
I think I’ve got hay-fever,
My eyes are just like taps.
But then I heard a buzzing,
Some grains of pollen slipped,
A beautiful queen bumblebee !
So that’s just what I blipped.

Impromptu verse, shame about the rubbish photo.
Well, it got me out of the house anyway.
