Last day of work for a week, off to visit the in-laws in Nottingham. It's only when you reach a holiday that you realise how in need of it you are.

Popped up to Marchmont in the evening to pick up a bike seat for Arlo, now all I need is to retrieve my bike from my Mum's garage and me on the boy will be off on some adventures. Really looking forward to it.

On the journey up to Marchmont I experimented with radio 1 again and that crazy dude Zane Lowe. There was a hip-hop tune I really liked the sound of all dusty horns and crackling beats, but on closer inspection of the lyrics I was less impressed - it's either comedy or stupidity and I suspect the latter. Altogether now - "After you done licked my testes, don't try to peck me. Please respect me, don't test me".
