We are staying at Shelney Church End on the outskirts of Milton Keynes. Today we had an orienteering event at Salcey Forest near Northampton. 

I decided to give it a go and was cautious in the undergrowth to slow down to avoid a trip/fall. Warnings at the start of slippery sides to ditches did nothing to aid my confidence. However all was well. Pleased with my result given the circumstances.

After a shower complete with waterproof cover for the cast. I went for a walk to explore the local area. Some lovely architecture. The chimney on this thatched cottage caught my eye. Good to see lots of blossom out too.
