Today, I was over in a Newton Mearns, visiting my brother, where, I blipped the Ukrainian flag which if flying outside the East Renfrewshire Council offices in Eastwood Park.

On this day in 1946, Winston Churchill fixed the phrase “Iron Curtain” in the language. “From Stettin in the Baltic to Trieste in the Adriatic, an iron curtain has descended across the continent,” he said in a speech at Fulton, United States.
