Maldon Essex

Today we went to Maldon shopping. The town is famous for Maldon Sea Salt. It’s name was mentioned in the Anglo-Saxon Chronicle. King Edward the Elder was thought to have lived here. The Battle of Maldon was fought here when the locals defended the town from a Viking raid in 924 and again in 991.

My third novel has been accepted by my publisher Darkstroke and is to be published in June. I have started on my fourth painting it’s of a bluebell wood.
