It’s snowing! It must be Silly Saturday!

To commemorate the first day of the Winter Paralympics, I cracked open my last Chocolate Yule Log this afternoon, and sprinkled it with snow!

And talking of snow... After a night where the temperature dropped to near zero, woke to find no heating and no hot water, it felt cold enough indoors to snow! Booking a repair online, the first date I was offered was 25 March! Phoning the gas company brought the appointment forward to the 15th, then mentioning we were on the priority register (due to health issues) got me an appointment tomorrow, and with further pleading an appointment today at 3pm. Problem turned out to be a faulty pump, to be replaced Monday, but we do have heat, and fingers crossed we do tomorrow as well.
