“Dogs don’t smile” sez I.

“What about all those photos we have of you with a big grin on your face?” says he.
“That’s lifting the sides of ya mouth to let more air in” sez I, “we do that when we’ve been running about”.

“Looks like smiling” says he.
“Not wanting to go too far with this one Silverback but; humans interpret it as smiling due to their own emotional needs. It makes them feel loved. Same thing happens when babies burp!”

“Any more questions?” sez I.
“Not really” says he.

“Good; throw the stick then?” sez I.
“Only if you smile first” says he.
