Architecture in Tampere

I had plenty of time to do some street and architecture photography in Tampere in the afternoon, while Triinu was visiting the occupational health service. I found it easier for me to shoot buildings than people. The latter would work well in Florence, where I have spent 24 hours twice, but not closer to home.

Anyway, buildings are not as scary as unknown people, so here are two shots. The main blip is of the new Central Deck, designed by Daniel Libeskind, and the extra is of the cathedral by Lars Sonck, completed in 1907.

The night was cold, -15°C still at 8 am, but the temperature rose a little above zero in the afternoon. A little colder than previous days, but a nice, sunny day.
