Primroses blooming now

I think this is the exact same bunch I photographed a week or two ago in February, when they were newly sprung from the ground. 

This was the day I had to take my daughter's budgie to the vet for her. She's not able to stay in her own flat (in Edinburgh) at the moment, so we said we'd look after her pair of budgies for her. Of course, typically something went wrong while they're with us and I had to take the younger one to get checked, and to put our daughter's mind at ease. It turned out the budgie was fine in the end, but it was a big palaver just trying to grab hold of him to put him in the travel cage. It wasn't much fun....in the end my husband was the one who managed it!
