Road trip

In contrast to yesterday here is some 15th century architecture! Visited the National Trust village of Lacock where my lovely family of New Zealand returnees are temporarily installed. Downtown Abbey and various bits of Harry Potter, amongst other things, have been filmed here.

Today’s road trip also included an errand down in Somerset and every red light into central Bristol to see friend S and partake of vegan brunch, before moving on to Lacock. Then back to friend R’s for dinner with her delightful Japanese friend, where much fascinating conversation (and a glass or two of wine) has been digested!
