Place Names

I pass lots of doorways as I walk to work. This one made me stop and smile - it had an old set of door bells for a block of tenement flats; looking through the list of surnames for the bells, I couldn't mistake the fact that I was in Scotland! No doubt these residents are long gone but it made me wonder who they were and what they were like!
