We were told if we could to pick up our children from school early today because of an incoming storm. Pip had just gone down for his nap and it was blue skies outside so I decided to pick Bean up at the usual time, which turned out to be a good decision. It was rumbling in the distance when we went to collect him but nothing actually happened until about 4pm. Swimming lessons were also cancelled.
