Perfect Day
For a cycle.
It was cold if stopped for long and you can see a wee skin of ice on the loch I set off east, generally up hill and into the wind, on the A86 to the concrete bridge then on gravel even more up hill.
My arrival at the loch coincided with hill walkers coming back off the Ardverikie Munros. I think I saw 6 people, so pretty busy. Despite the crowds it was good to stop and take in the views and fresh air. Realising the chill I pulled on a layer and munched my pear. (That scans if I could get skill in there).
It felt like it took seconds to get back to the A86 and as swift back on the tarmac -tailwind and downhill- to home, perhaps 15-20 minutes faster.
