Hot sun…

followed hard frost again and gave ideal walking conditions.
With the Plateau in front, clear and white, and the silvered grasses underfoot it was idyllic. The Lapwings and Curlews and Skylarks all announced their presence. Woodpeckers were drumming lower down in the woods and the Oystercatchers have started to nest by the burn.
Another glorious day spent outside till late afternoon.
The squirrels were busy in the garden and in the woods.
