Warsaw Central

There were literally 1000s of refugees at Warsaw Central station today. This is not the only large station in Warsaw. There were people wrapped in blankets on the square outside the Palace of Culture too. Trains are free for people escaping the Ukraine but organisations here were giving people food and hot drinks from what I could see.

Meanwhile, the previous border problem, closer to where I live, continues. Here there are awful cases of women who are in a very sorry state and who need specialist medical attention. I can't go into details. The very organisations that have been helping these refugees are still hounded by the government here. Their phone number is on the government web site as the organisation to contact for the Ukrainian refugees without consultation with them. They obtain no government funding and are swamped with calls. The government will be credited with this help. Please read this.
