St Briavels

A dry cold day, we set off from home for the 10 mile (25 min) journey to St Briavels Castle (12th century), Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, England to do a good four mile walk along the UK's longest Tufa Dam.

It's a walk we did last October and I blipped here so after getting a photograph of the castle, it was nice to just take a film camera to finish of its roll. Last time we got lost and ended up doing nearly a couple of miles extra but we got the route correct this time (poor instructions in the book of walks we use).
