Bay of Firth (Day 2493)

A fine, slightly frosty, start to the day for the morning wander up the hill with Sigyn, then a trip into Tesco for the weekly shop. Home to unload and have breakfast, then my beautiful wife zoomed across to Stromness, hoping to get out a ride. It turned out that George is still a bit lame, so we spent a while scratching the horses and feeding them apples and parsnips. It is an odd combination, but they all seem to like it.
Home for lunch, then a different wander with Sigyn. The main road from Kirkwall to Stromness passes our house, and at the moment the bit outside our house is being repaired so is completely closed. The diversion has left a fair chunk of the road completely free of traffic, so we wandered along the coast towards town and back. Sigyn was delighted with the new walk, especially as it meant she didn't have to get in the car.
A bit later, HV zoomed off to do more hoss stuff and I got on with clearing up the garage and van.
