Newcomers
The first part of this morning was taken up entertaining, and being entertained by, our lovely grandson. Emma and Raff then set off to meet friends at The Farm and we got on with some jobs whilst dog sitting Luna.
After lunch we went to The Farm, though didn't stop for coffee as although it was sunny, there was a cold wind. They have some newcomers at The Farm. The sow has produced a litter of twelve piglets. They are still undercover and are very sweet, not keeping still for one minute whilst the proud mum looks on. Outside there are a couple of new ewes with their offspring lambs. The lambs spent a lot of their time trying to feed from their mums.
In a separate part of the enclosure where the piggies are are the three goats, wintering in the warmth. The hornless one appeared to be sleeping standing up. Perfectly still with their eyes closed.
I've added a couple of pics to the extras.
