Ladybird

It was another beautiful blue skied sunny day in Edinburgh so ideal for a few hours at the allotment.  We pruned the apple tree, blackcurrants and redcurrants and cut the autumn raspberries back to the ground (as well as pulling a few of them out, they spread everywhere).  Then all the fruits were mulched with last year's zoo poo - it's magicable stuff!

Pleasingly there were tons of worms and other good bugs in the zoo poo and lots of ladybirds around.
