A rather big dinner

After breakfast in our hotel we set off for a walk around one of the lakes near where we are staying.

It was rather muddy under foot in places but we got to the various hides and saw a few interesting birds.  This great crested grebe was busy fishing and caught this rather large fish.  He took a while to swallow it but seemed to still be hunting so must have wanted a bit more food.

We went out for a Sunday roast which was very nice and are having a lazy evening in our room.
