Oyster Catchers

These birds never let me get very close.  This was the best I could do.  There was less sun today and it felt even colder than yesterday.

I spent a long time extracting the sand from my camera after its immersion in sand and water yesterday.  It dried out overnight and I used a couple of soft paintbrushes to get the sand off.  It seems to be OK but I may find the odd grinding noise as I rotate the lens.

I had thought my 200th blip would be today, so yesterday was a surprise!  Many thanks to all who sent me congrats yesterday.
