Borghese Dancers

On display at the Wallace Collection in London, this marvellous bronze frieze, depicting 5 dancers, three heading towards the camera (in this image, and two retreating, with the circle of hands breaking. Loved it ... dating from the 17th. century, and produced in France, it illustrates the North European love of all things from ancient Greece and Rome, and the artist has illustrated that homage beautifully.
