Morning Rush
We have learned that it is far better to pay for a shuttle rather than have to fight the traffic in a rental car. It is also usually less expensive, though not always as convenient. This morning was no exception. We left Kelsey's apartment an hour before sunrise, yet were still on the road when the sun broke the horizon. It wasn't the heavy traffic on the 405, shown here out the back window of the van, but the extra person we had to pick up in the middle of nowhere. It seems Long Beach is always the first picked up and the last dropped off, so we spend a lot of time in the shuttle van seeing the sights of L.A. We still made it to the airport in plenty of time, breezed through check-in and security, and were sitting in the waiting area of Terminal 6 before our plane was even at the gate.
