Not so easy bein' green

What a difference a day makes. Yesterday’s temporary pond is gone, swallowed up by a fast flowing muddy stream. I hope the frogs escaped.


Walking this morning was extraordinary, with a small river flowing on either side of the road and frequent paddling pools. I have a word of advice for drivers. If there is water lying on the road, and you pass a pedestrian, SLOW DOWN!

Bowral has been largely cut off today by flash flooding. All this is nothing, of course, compared with what the people further north are suffering.
