Edge of the Moor

MONDAY

I headed out for a run over Norland Moor before breakfast. It was slow going due to water and ankle-deep mud.

Mini dams have been constructed across the streams that drain the moor in an attempt to slow down the run-off which eventually drains into the River Calder.

Harriet was supposed to be visiting for a couple of days but she is keeping away as she has had significant exposure to Covid.
