The Islands of the Sea

Another sunny day, though with a chilly wind. After a hearing test at the hospital I drove round via the coast north of Oban and photographed this beautiful view of An Naoimh - pronounced An Neeve -  one of the Garvellachs, or Islands of the Sea. I loved the strong bright reflection on the water and the Sgeirean Dubh lighthouse on its rocky islet.
 
I carried on into Oban along the coast road - beautiful views out to Kerrera and beyond. A quiet road and well worth driving on. The ferry to Kerrera leaves from here.
