Bill was varnishing their newly sanded living room floor today, so Matt and I entertained Maddy and Beano for the day.

We had a walk along North Street and popped into the Tobacco Factory market, then got some breakfast at the Standard. Back along for a little walk in the park and then to the garden centre for a sniff of all the plants and a drink in the sunshine. It got suddenly a lot colder so we headed back home to warm up and for Beano to have a nap.

Bill ended up coming down to ours when he was finished so Matt and I cooked a big curry with accoutrements. We so rarely have people over for food, it was lovely!
