Mind The Gap

As I stood and waited for the train and took this photo I hoped something would happen that I could relate my blurb rather than just "waiting for a train".

So 2 things, firstly had THE BEST train guard this morning. He announced Hope's Birthday over the Tannoy and then led his carriage into singing her Happy Birthday. I also loved how the lady sat in front of me joined in singing out loud regardless of the fact that we were in another Carriage and she was on her own! As we pulled into Waterloo he then announced another little boys birthday and ask everyone to wave and call Happy Birthday to him as we disembarked. Also wished A choir who were travelling up to St Pauls for a service there good luck. The fun of not being on the commuters' train!!

And then we had the joy of a signal failure at Clapham Junction on the way home, some trains delayed over an hour... luckily I was only held up about 20 minutes in the end. Wish we'd had a fun guard on that journey too!
