Thanks to an unexpected shadow this photo taken by M up at our local reservoir makes me look like a giant. As I am (just) 5ft I rather like this elongated image.

Politics came up over coffee in the gym today and several said they have abandoned “doom scrolling”, checking on  Covid and now Ukraine several times a day.
They made a conscious decision not to look at the news except once a day.
Yet this human tragedyof the 21st centry unfolds before our eyes 24/7 like something out of World War1 or World War2.
