I feel like I'm being watched!

I think the look on the Blackbirds face says it all. The mouth on the tree was manufactured but the three knotholes, for the eyes and nose, are all natural.
You can see by the thickness of the trunk that the Bay Laurel has been there for far too long!
The twins have been ill since arriving in the UK. they picked up quite a bit this morning but late afternoon saw them very hot, listless and just really not interested in anything except sleep.
8.30pm they woke up seemingly completely recovered. Fingers crossed for tomorrow that they remain well.
