Mum

I stitched this family tree for my mum. Each apple represents her daughters and grand children.

It took 6 months to stitch, but was worth the effort because my mum loved it.

I got the piece back when she died. A good friend lost her father this week and although I think about my mum a lot, this sad news has meant she has been on my mind more than usual.
