Breaking the sound barrier

China is a very loud place.

This was our lunch spot today, and it was rigged up with a microphone system that conveyed messages from the screaming harridan pictured to the poor overworked souls in the kitchen.

Whether it be escape from the loud chewing, excessive hacking or incessant barking (dogs and people), my eardrums will be glad of a rest come tomorrow.
