Wind blown sand.

A SSE wind was blowing the dry surface sand along the length of Crosby beach which creates an interesting surface, and emphasises the Iron Men as they face out to sea. Not exactly Blue and Gold, but not far off.
It was cold but sunny and we were well fortified with first class coffee and Portuguese Custard Tarts.
