Clocking on

The problem with this one has been sorted, but the Grandfather clock is going to the clock hospital later in the week for a 'service'.  No problems mechanically but needs dust removing and an oil injection.  Was last MOT'd 12 years ago.  At least it is ticking again but stops when it gets tired!
I know how it feels.

Full house for lunching ladies and we had a long discussion on the problems of the world at the moment. We all feel pretty helpless and so sorry for the families fleeing their homes.  Cannot imagine what it would be like.

Pleased I filled my car up on Friday because the price has risen by 3p in 3 days at the petrol station I use. A relatively minor worry for us  compared to those who do not have a home, let alone a car.
