Get Back

Watched Get Back - the film of the Beatles 1969 roof top concert - this afternoon in the MK Gallery cinema.  A dozen or so in the audience, mainly our age.

What the film shows more than anything is just how tight they were as a band and how much fun they seemed to be having. It's hard to imagine that this was they last time they played together.

As we were leaving Anniemay reminded me of a band from Milton Keynes who also played Get Back at their own farewell rooftop concert back in 2008.  Three members eventually went on to form another band with blipper Porkybrown.
