Arthur's Dartboard
The Winchester city tour had been recommended to us and didn't disappoint. I doubt we'd have picked up on half of the fascinating history of the city if we'd just wandered around on our own.
This is the supposed Arthurian 'round table' in the only remaining part of the original castle. Most theories re the table are that it's was a PR exercise by Henry VIII implying his ancestry went back to Arthur.
Extras are of the city water mill which did a respectable coffee & cake, and the cathedral - more photogenic at night than in the dull grey daytime
