Scary plant

Still a few of these giant hogweed seedheads standing and it won't be long before the new ones start growing. They always make me think of trifids. Taking this pic involved having one leg resting on a wall over a field drain and trying not to fall in the water (I'd already been upended by a branch catching my shoe). Plenty of snowdrops still out and even a few daffodils.
I began the day with various jobs in the house before going for a run early enough to avoid the very chilly breeze getting stronger. It was rather slow as I was in the woodss with multiple obstacles.
A bit of gardening and some sewing before cooking and this eening was our weekly Zoom prayer meeting.
