International Women's Day

It makes sense to me on International Women’s Day to mark the historic moment when President Zelenskyy appeared on a live link in the HoC from Kyiv, representing a nation of remarkable, brave people.

We’ve all seen the devastating images of women and children, now refugees, escaping into Poland, Romania, Moldova, it’s for the women to build new lives somewhere in hope their men will one day return. Women may not be the most likely to be killed in battle but they do bear the greatest burden of war.
