Sally Mair - Loving life

International Women's Day

There you go - a future wonder woman! There's another in the extras! I had rather a nice day today.
I pleased myself and went for a run in the car to Falkland where I had lunch and wandered around the village. I picked up some cards and then had a look in Vintage Quine. I'm the wrong shape for most of her clothes just now though.
Next I drove over to Kinross and wandered for a while there too. I looked in the CHAS shops but failed to buy anything, which is not like me.
I popped into Dobbies in Dunfermline, had my free coffee and then came home. The sky was clear, the views to the hills and over the Forth were beautiful and I had no agenda. Perfect.
When I got home I made myself some Basmati rice pudding, a long time favourite, it is flavoured with bay and cardamon and finished with fresh nutmeg. Delicious and very gentle on my stomach.
Bridge this evening went well and we finished with a positive score which was very pleasing.
It's raining now, which is the only irritation of the day as I put my sheets out and forgot to bring them in again. Grrrrr.
Ukraine.
