Final approach.

We’re staying right by the airport. That is something that would normally ring alarm bells when choosing a holiday location. However, there is a hill right behind us protecting us from the noise and consequential annoyance that close proximity to an airport entails. You get the occasional rumble as big jets use reverse thrust on landing or full power on takeoff but nothing else.
The location does give a nice view of incoming aircraft at sunset though. Worth the slight inconvenience…….
Just an added element to the frequent sunset colours at the end of each day.
