Apple stalk

We had lots of fun at Blackheath Photo Group this morning, in spite of the lack of power after the recent non stop rain followed by overnight winds - a sure recipe for bringing trees down on power lines.
Sue took us through some more macro ideas leading into an Apple Shoot. I don't have a macro lens so shot this with my 12-45mm f4 Pro zoom which has amazing close up capabilities for such a general purpose lens.
On review, it would have probably been better at f11 to reduce diffraction softening.
