Hat, Glasses, Mask (68/365)
England lifted all Covid restrictions a couple of weeks ago. There wasn't a scientific basis for this, more a feeling among the political class that people were bored and kinda done with the pandemic.
(Who'd've thought the best way to end the pandemic was to just say "I think we're done now"?)
I still wear a mask whenever I travel on the tube or visit a shop. It's the least inconvenient thing in the world and having staved the virus off for more than two years, I figure I'm doing something right.
But onto today's shot. This was a real lucky strike. I brought my 18-70mm Nikkor in to take some architectural shots near Bank station. I was fumbling around with the settings when our dude here strode out from the subway. It was all I could do than to lift the camera and hit the shutter.
There's something a little "1950s reporter" about the outfit which I appreciate too.
