Sunset at the pool

Pool's still closed but it's pretty safe at low tide so a few people were swimming laps and some kids were hanging onto the fencing and waiting for waves to come through (while parents watched anxiously, or not).  This mum did not move far in the 8 seconds that it took to make this image (I was mucking about with ND filters).

Ellie had her stitches out without incident.  No longer needs to wear the "cone of shame" when she goes to bed.  Still not happy. Tomorrow we're allowed to take her for a 5 minute walk.  Something at least.
