Wait patently ...

...and along comes three.  I have been trying to capture a Long-Tailed Tit for a few days now and managed it this morning.  They are new comers to the feeding station and flew off when other birds came to the feeders, but today they seem happy to share with the Great tit. It took some time to get a reasonably clear shot as it's blowing a gale outside. I went up to church this morning to help box up donations to send to Ukrainian refugees.  A priest in a nearby parish is Polish and he is driving a truck to the south of Poland near to Ukraine with the donations.  The appeal was made last Wednesday and by Sunday people were asked not to bring any more goods as the church hall was full and no more could be stored at this time.  People are so generous in this time of need.
