Birthday Lunch

It is Sam's birthday today.  To help her celebrate we met her at The Rose & Crown, Portway near Birmingham.  We were joined by Emma and Raff and had a good lunch and chat.  Raffy was very good, eating his own lunch Emma had brought, although some missed his mouth and landed on the floor, either accidentally or on purpose.  But I think he had plenty to eat, especially as he also shared Emma's fish cake.  

The photo is of Emma, Raffy and Ann; Sam was actually taking photos and I just sort of joined in!

In other news: the house went up for sale today, a sign appearing in the front garden.   The EPC man arrived shortly after we returned home.  He trawled the house taking measurements and produced a floor plan for the sale details.  He was also checking the energy efficiency to produce the EPC (energy performance certificate) required for every house.  The plan is to move to Worcester.
