IWD. 
Every year we have this day and I'm not sure how much progress is made in the 12 months between each day. Not a great deal I feel, but then I think welllll we should be thankful for small improvements and then I think why the hell should we. Things should have moved forward so much more to the point of the starting line being the same the same for everyone. Watched this https://www.instagram.com/p/Ca1kfVbIHfP/ and there are so many excellent points made. Really good to start a discussion from. 

In other news I took Jennie up to London to see Jessica for Jess's birthday as Jennie hadn't been able to see her when we went up last month. Thankfully the weather was perfect - lots of sun so made driving feel like a proper road trip and both journeys were great. Picked Jennie up about 2.15 ( and was able to get this shot of Heckie while she was getting her shoes on) and we went to Sainsburys so she could get her passport photo as she has to renew before we go away. So funny. She was livid with how the photo turned out. And tbh although it looked fine, and you can tell it’s her it’s not how she looks. Kept her occupied for at least 45 mins in the car. Got to Ealing about 5 and Jess got home about 5 mins later. She got changed and opened her presents from Jennie, which she loved, then we went out to the sushi place. Had loads of yummy food - just kept ordering and ordering - well they did. The pair of them are like gannets. Only sad thing was me not being able to drink as I was driving but as it was in the week at least I was able to stick to my no drinking in the week plan! We all laughed a lot which is always a good thing. Back to their flat for a few shots (photo shots not the other kind) which was equally hilarious as obviously none of us liked any of them but Jennie has managed to work her magic on a few to make them acceptable lol. Had a proper road trip down memory lane on the way back with Jennie playing music we used to listen to on our road trips circa 2009/10.

IWD - and also the 30 year anniversary of Jennie's conception - she loves that I remind her of this every year!!!!
